Signed by the author to the front free end paper of each volume. Loosely inserted to Barbara Woodhouses Book of Dogs are seven newspaper articles concerning the author.
Dog Training My Way by Barbara Woodhouse includes instructions for many useful dog training exercises, such as heel work and retrieving. Illustrated with a frontispiece and eighteen photographic plates. Collated, complete.
Barbara Woodhouses Book of Dogs contains guidance including choosing a dog, behavioral issues, travelling and going on holiday with dogs, and different breeds. It also includes information concerning service dogs. This work is now uncommon, and the original dust wrapper in particular is very scarce. Illustrated with a frontispiece, twenty-seven photographic plates, and numerous in-text photographs. Collated, complete.
CONDITION
In the publishers original cloth bindings, with the original unclipped dust wrappers. Externally, cloth is bright and smart. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean, except for some offsetting to the end papers. Both dust wrappers have losses to the head and tail of the spine, some sunning to the spine, and chipping to the extremities. Significant loss to the rear of the dust wrapper of Book of Dogs.
