The Sentinel of the Spaceways, barely alive after a grueling ordeal, arrives with the warning that the mad Titan, Thanos, has achieved ultimate power. Combining the Infinity Gems into the ominous Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos has become master of the mind, space, time, power, reality and the soul. And with his first act of nigh-omnipotent power Thanos eradicates half the population in the universe. Can the surviving heroes of Earth mount an offensive against this supreme power for evil and destruction, plus who are the mysterious new players whove just arrived on the scene?

ISSUE 2 - Part 2 of 6. "From Bad to Worse!" Story by Jim Starlin. Art by George Perez and Joe Rubinstein. Wielding nigh-omnipotent power, the mad Titan, Thanos, eradicated half the population in the universe with but a snap of his fingers. Now, the surviving heroes of Earth are left to deal with the chaos that has ensued in the wake of such a catastrophe. Meanwhile, Odin the Lord of Asgard, calls a meeting of the Sky-Fathers (Zeus, Osiris, Manitou, and others) to discuss this disturbance in the universal order of things. Plus, the man who once brought an end to the Mad Titan returns from the grave to lend a hand. But can even the heroes trust the intentions of Adam Warlock?

ISSUE 3 - Part 3 of 6. "Preparations for War!" Story by Jim Starlin. Art by George Perez and Joe Rubinstein. The remaining heroes of Earth marshal their forces for a full out assault on the Mad Titian. But past transgressions threaten to tear them apart from the inside. Meanwhile, Adam Warlock, Silver Surfer, and Quasar attend a convergence of the cosmic gods of the universe. If the heroes fall then these unbelievably powerful beings will engage Thanos in a battle that could tear apart the very fabric of reality.

The surviving heroes of Earth mount an all-out assault on the Mad Titan, Thanos, and the power of his Infinity Gauntlet. But do even the most powerful heroes in the Marvel Universe have enough might to topple this nigh-omnipotent madman? Meanwhile, the mysterious man known as Adam Warlock waits and watches in the wings. What could he possibly have up his sleeve?

ISSUE 5 - Part 5 of 6. "Astral Conflagration!" Story by Jim Starlin. Art by Ron Lim and Joe Rubinstein. The heroes of Earth mounted an all-out assault on Thanos and the power of his Infinity Gauntlet. They failed. Now, the Mad Titan stands defiantly before the cosmic gods of the universe. Its Thanos vs. the Stranger, Lord Order and Master Chaos, Chronos, the Celestials, Mistress Love and Sire Hate, Mephisto, Eon, Galactus, Lady Death, and Eternity in a battle that could very well mean the end of everything. However, an unexpected turn of events will change the playing field and nothing will ever be the same again.

ISSUE 6 - Part 6 of 6. "Power!" Story by Jim Starlin. Art by Ron Lim and Joe Rubinstein. The nigh-omnipotent power of the Infinity Gauntlet has fallen into the hands of Thanos insane niece, Nebula. Now, the universe is maybe worse off now more so than before with such power at the disposal of such a scarred psyche. She has already swept aside the attack of Thor, Hulk, Drax, Firelord, and Doctor Doom as if they were but flies. All that stands in the way of the universe and ultimate annihilation is the man called Adam Warlock, Doctor Strange, the Silver Surfer, and the one who forged the Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos.

CONDITION: THESE COMICS HAVE NEVER BEEN READ! If I were buying these for myself, I would consider them Very Fine or better, but I am not a professional grader, so please look at the attached photos carefully to judge for yourself. They are of the actual comics you will be getting! Still stapled very securely, tight binding. Paper still supple. Each comic has been stored very carefully in bag and box away from sunlight in a smoke-free environment. These decades-old comics still look very nice!
