*Because our clients are mostly jazz collectors and connoisseurs, as we are, we made it our policy to only sell vinyl that we grade in VERY GOOD (VG) condition or better. This vinyl is in our opinion a VG+, looks and plays great.
Record Grade VG+ = ONE OWNER. Very well maintained. Just listened to both sides of the whole album with headphones on and it plays very beautiful. The vinyl looks beautiful. Little to no surface noise at all. No skips or jumps. Difficult to find this rare vintage stereo recording in such nice condition. (see pictures)
Jacket Grade VG+ = Very well maintained. We kept it on our shelf in plastic cover all these years. The jacket is very sturdy. No writing, no tape, no seem splits. Firm spine. A strong clean jacket for a 28 year old album. (see pictures)

William James "Count" Basie (August 21, 1904 – April 26, 1984) was an American jazz pianist, organist, bandleader, and composer.
Count Basie introduced several generations of listeners to the Big Band sound and left an influential catalog. Basie is remembered by many who worked for him as being considerate of musicians and their opinions, modest, relaxed, fun-loving, dryly witty, and always enthusiastic about his music.
Pablo Records was a record label founded by Norman Granz in 1973, roughly a decade after he had sold his jazz labels (including the world-famous Verve Records) to MGM Records.
Pablo initially featured recordings by acts that Granz managed such as Ella Fitzgerald, Oscar Peterson and Joe Pass. Later, recordings by Count Basie, John Coltrane, Dizzy Gillespie and Sarah Vaughan were added. Milt Jackson and Paulinho da Costa recorded for Pablo from the mid 70s to the mid 80s.
