OUTSTANDING book on Mod and Op Art late 60s and early 70s lighting design from Italy. Beautifully printed and designed, with lime green endpapers and matte paper for text and superb color photos, mostly color, for 178 featured designs by such firms as Arteluce, Kartell, Flos, Zama Elettronica, New Lamp, Artemide, Prisma, Arredoluce, and Lumenform. Fantastic creations - very space age, very Vernon Panton and "Blow-Up," with designs by Ettore Sottsass, Vico Magistretti, Gae Aulenti, Ingrid Hsalmarson, Ugo la Pietra, Sergio Asti, Joe Colombo, and the conceptual architectural collectives Superstudio and Archizoom. The definitive book on mod Italian lighting, both a superb reference and visual anthology. All designs are fully annotated in the rear. My highest recommendation. Out of print and a very collectible title. In MINT condition, still sealed.
